Help Us Make Smart Life-Saving Robots
Please help us design robots to guide evacuees in an emergency! If you volunteer, you will be given seven scenarios in our evacuation simulation environment and a short survey. The environment is designed to be like a video game: you can see your surroundings and react by moving your character with arrow keys. It is expected to take about 10-15 minutes to complete it all. Participating in this research will allow us to discover how people react to robotic guidance in an emergency and how we can improve that reaction.
